We?ve got some rather interesting details regarding Facebook?s intentions to improve the official Android app. Apparently, Facebook employees and developers are being forced to migrate from their iPhones to an Android device. This is done not because Facebook prefer Android instead of iOS, but because Facebook themselves have realized that their app offered on the Play Store lacks behind its iOS counterpart. This way, the developers themselves will get a peak of the pros and the cons of the app through day-to-day usage and will manage to track down the bugs and issues easier than before.
We think it?s a really interesting and promising strategy to begin with. Will it improve the quality of their Android app? We?ll let you decide.
